If I only wanted to consider living in DC, which areas should I choose (that are more low-key and an okay commute to Reston)? |

Don't really have alot of help to give you... Most of DC is equally easy to commute to and from Reston as DC isn't a huge sprawling city (like say a Chicago or LA) since DC itself is constrained from growing it's borders. I'd say aim for somewhere in NW but that's only because that's where the people I know in DC live.
