How Long Before a (real) Promotion |

I've been with ACN for five years and made it into the senior exec ranks from assoiciate partner this year.
But when you look at it, that was not a real promotion. Level 3 SE is about equal to partner. They put me and most others APs in my group in at Level 4.
I've gotten great performance ratings. Worked on big deals. I get alot of face time with senior partners.
Is there something I'm missing?
I know there are other senior execs on the board.
What do you guys think, is upward movement harder now?
Is five years as an associate partner a short time a long time?
