fell for the typical ACN "we'll talk shit and dumb people who WANT to believe it's true WILL believe it's true" trick which ACN loves to pull over not too bright people with their head up a partners ass.
Take 'strat' like projects revenues (not REALLY strat of course... in fact, majority of it isn't)... staff such projects for considerable part with people from outside the strat boys club... yet divide revenues over the official headcount in the strat boys club... presto, inflated revenues per head... always good to abuse (lies, damn lies, and Accenture lies) in order to supposedly build street credibility in strat land.
Relax texex, real strat firms use these kinds of tricks as well.
Now, get back to re-reading the rejection letters you got from McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Booz, etc. |

ACN is a great place to work. Most "strategy firms" deliver powerpoint and not much else. At least my strategy work has a delivery component and adds value to my client. Anybody with an MBA can talk BS with a pretty slide... it takes an Accenture to actually deliver any value. And reason I get paid so much is because we do.
I'm sorry you had a bad expereince. Perhaps you are what we like to call a "recruiting mistake."
