Hi,
I am a C2 from an IGEM office, and am in leave of absence to study for a 1yr MBA program in the UK from a leading business school (fully paid by me). I am considering getting a transfer to the UK after I finish the MBA. Back at my home office, going back means going back to the same level & slightly adjusted pay, so I was wondering what would be the chances of exploring the MBA factor to get transfered to the UK as C3 (and get the associated pay).
In addition, can someone tell me what would be the normal salary levels for C2 and C3 in the UK? How does this depend on negotiation?
Thanks in advance. |

At consultant level, please don't expect the MBA to make much difference if you're joining the UK BSIC practice, but it might make help if you transfer to UK business consulting
Degrees and titles (excepting MBE, OBE etc) in the uk are not recognised in day-to-day work. Everybody is on first name basis, from new A1 to Liz Astall, so PhD and Prof titles are lost very easily.
N.B. - Please don't write letters (incl. MBA) after your name on your outlook signature. Below Senior Exec, UK staff don't include level or job titles, let alone academic credentials.
