Do you get paid over time in UK ?
if yes, is it straight or 1.5?
and what's considered OT, everything after 40 hrs?
related - do you actually work a lot of OT? |

Services and Solutions workforces get paid overtime, Consulting do not.
You can expect to get some TOIL in return for significant overtime, but expect this to be 1:1 for weekend work, or about 0.25:1 for weekday overtime (work 20 hours of overtime in a week, and expect a day off in return).
I would consider offering days/time off in lieu for my staff if they have worked in excess of 50 hours in a week, or have worked a weekend day.
