In Reply To: I will be starting at accenture feb 13th. I am interested in hearing from those analysts etc that attended the core analyst school in st. charles and what exactly to expect for the two weeks. I am interested in what knowledge you get from the training (valuable etc). Also, what sort of connections, events, bonding etc they have through accenture. thanks!
Message: I taught this class in 2004. I believe that was the first year new hires did not go directly to St Chucks after 2 weeks of local office training after they started. New Analysts wait 6 months or so before they go to Core Analyst School. The two week course is bascially an entire system life cycle process. 1.) Creating a current state/blue print/As Is 2.) Improving the current state 3.) Implement a system 4.) Test the system 5.) Train the trainer stuff In between there are team building activities. After hours people will go to the social center to drink and bond. A word of advice, just have fun and don't take anything to seriously. Also the Q center is no longer ACN only. There are other companies that use the facility.
