I'm currently attending a major public midwestern university that's also a magnet school for Accenture. I was passed up for an interview first semester, but have one scheduled for next month. I'm an IT and Business major, and need some advice on what to expect for the interview process. I already have a good job of what the position entails and am actually looking forward to it. Long hours are nothing new, nor is working in large teams, and I love to travel. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. |

You love teams, travel, and long hours - good. Now focus on three things in preparing for your interview:
1. Demonstrate that you understand consulting and technology.
2. Demonstrate a coherent decision-making process in your interview (describe the problem, describe possible solutions, tell what actions you took).
3. Willingness to learn new things.
Think about your answer before you say anything, and when you are done talking shut up - that will get you pretty far on its own.
