HR tells you guys as much as they know
things change all the time and there is no point bringing people on to have them sit on the bench
these days its quite difficult to get staffed and especially if you are a new analyst |

Your comment is undoubtedly correct and I am already well aware of that.
But from a new employee's perspective, a courtesy e-mail would be appreciated, automatically, if I were to start 3 months later than my original preference. At this present moment, I am worried about finding out, in May end, that all analysts will be joining in June or July! But I guess that just depends on the geographical economy.
