Where you are staffed depends on the needs of Accenture.
It has no difference what level you are at. However, some OG's have certain concentrations of clients in particular geographic areas, so if you both live in a geographic area that your OG services a lot, you may see less travel. For example, the D.C. area has a lot of govt. clients, so if you work for the Govt OG, you may travel very little. Philadelpia has a lot of Pharma clients, so if you work for retail and specialize in Pharma, living in Philly will mean less travel and living outside Philly will mean more travel. Minneapolis, New York and Chicago have a lot of financial clients.
Remember, it all comes down to "what is best for Accenture" and that includes Accenture's ability to give the client what he wants.
