In Reply To: Thank you for your intelligent reply, it's appreciated. This has absolutely nothing to do with capitalism. I hope this is not the norm of conversation about subjects like this at ACN, but if it is the case, my respect for them prior to even recieving a start date is dwindling. Perhaps I should accept another offer.
Message: Based on your original post it appears you knew your question was going to be seen as sillyan inane. If you take that expected response as a read on Accenture's culture, then that's silly and inane as well. You said something foolish and a couple people made fun of you for it. Sorry if that rattled you. Don't let a few stupid comments (mine included) cloud your judgement. As for the ethics question, as you move into the working world you will find ethical questions abound regardless of what field you are in. Consulting has very acute dilemas (quick & easy answer ve. right answer) but also very acute forcing for unethical behavior - the client. You lie to the client they'll be able to figure it out and they'll fire you.
