Hello,
I am graduating in May 2006 from a small yet exclusive private college with a BA in Bus Admin (Finance and Management Strategy focus).
I am ranked in the top 3% of my class, as well as maintaining a finance analyst internship for about a year. Three questions:
1)Is Accenture still hiring at this point?
2) What is probability of Accenture hiring me?
3) To recent employees: How did you apply? Just as a general inquiry through the website or did you know someone within the company. As is, I am trying to figure out who to address a cover letter to.
Thanks for the help! |

Going through the standard route is not a bad thing - Accenture hires a wide range of individuals commensurate to the opportunities available and whether you know someone or not, you will end up going through the same assessment process as a new hire with no specific industry experience.
Knowing someone who already works in the firm helps from a coaching perspective for the written application process, but you still need to fill in the standard application and have the grades/points in your pocket.
The most valuable people are those who can hold their own against the competition rather than hope they can avoid it all the time. Might be worth bearing in mind.
