Most new analysts don't hack it past Core Analyst school?? I'd say about 99% are still around after analyst school.
The engineering majors are the only ones capable of doing anything remotely technical at ACN. |

Background matters only for salary.
Everyone passes Core Analyst School so long as they show up and don't get caught jumping in the lake. THere's no coding there either, only at SDF training.
I don't think your major is an indication of whether or not you'll be successful as long as you're not talking about straight coding, in which case, Comp Sci majors have an advantage. Still, they won't have you doing that long, if at all.
The company wouldn't hire you if they didn't think you could handle the learning curve
