Like many ATS employees, I-Fly probably has the same skills as his counterparts over in ACN proper:IT consulting and IT outsourcing / "Services" (though he may have a bit more experience than the average ACN employee).
Nevertheless, he is probably paid about 60% of what his ACN counterparts are being paid. It's like going into an auto showroom and spending $19,000 instead of $32,000. You can't complain if the $19,000 car doesn't offer you the stereo with the Bose speakers, the heated leather seats and the 285 HP engine. If ACN is only paying their ATS people 60%, then they have to accept things like missing parenthesis, etc. If they want 100% quality they have to pay 100% of the price. They don't.
The good news is that, now that the weak job market is getting a bit stronger, people from ACN can move up in their careers by moving on to better places. This will open spots for ATS people to move into market-rate jobs at ACN (to fill the turnover gap) or, if they are good, even move out of the ACN/ATS world entirely. So better (paying) days are coming.
