I need advice with an incident that occurred this morning. While backing out of a parking lot I accidentally hit an illegally parked car causing a dent. My AVIS rental is insured under the corporate agreement and through my American Express card. I did not leave any contact information on the other car. If reported, will the damages to the other car be covered by my insurance? Does anyone know the proper procedure I should follow to submit a claim? How will I be affected by this incident? |

Dont turn yourself in. This is a NO-FAULT country so the other persons insurance will cover their damage. As far as you, just say when you came out of work, grocery store, bar, you noticed the damage. Avis will take care of it.
