I'm a consultant in Accenture China focused on management consulting(mainly on marketing domain, such as marketing organization design, process re-enginearing, etc.), and this week I get an offer of consultant occupation in Hay Group China, whose pay is 50% higher than that I get now in Accenture. The conversations with the directors and partners of Hay were good, but I'm worrying about the career focus in Hay Group, since Hay is quite focused on HR and people matters. Should I take the offer? Reply is highly appreciated! |

50% more, are you kidding me, I will pack up my stuff so fast that no one will believe it...
After 2-3 years with Hay Group for whatever group, you can come back to Accenture (or any other company for that matter)...
My advice: Take it, but leave on your best terms and leave door open so you can come back in the future...
