Well I assumed that DC mostly has government clients but found out that their two main clients are gov and comm&hightech, but also have the groups. Which groups would be more enjoyable for a young, new analyst?
If some one is aligned to government or comm&high tech, does that mean that their traveling is pretty much non existent? |

If you're an analyst, don't expect to travel, independent of which OG you're assigned to.
Government projects can be just as challenging and stressful as the private sector, just don't expect the client to be around much past 5. In general, the big difference is that the business of the group is more stable. Other groups tend to be hotter when the economy is good, but colder during recessions. This doens't necessarily mean government projects can't be pulled if the budget approprations aren't made though.
