I recently have been contact by an ACN HR Manager reagarding some very overdue expenses that weren't paid.
She has requested a meeting with me - hopefully to resolve this, but I'm cautious that it might be to fire me.
How do I know for sure?
Who does the firing?
How does it happen? |

In the UK, from my experience, when a partner that you have never heard of calls you up for a meeting, it's time to pack your bags and take a backup of your laptop.
I assume it's so the process is as personally detatched as possible - but every time I have seen it, it's been a random partner do it rather than a career counsellor. And never HR.
