Thanks for all the inputs. I do not have a firm offer from IBM BCS, but they have indicated that they are lloking to place me at the highest end of Band 8. I think compensaton will be around 120K. If you think this is equivalent to an Accenture Manager then I will take it up other wise I have another offer from Axa Financials (they are a top 5 in the Insuarnace sector) where they are offering me a Manager position..next level being the director.

I do not think Accenture will offer 120K for Manager position. I had to negotiate my *ss off to get 110. I have over 12 years of experience (mostly contracting, last 7 in BI - but no big 4 or big 6 experience). With IBM, you will have to travel, so if you are planning on establishing family or already have a family, the Axa does not sound bad (if the money is similar).
Good luck and choose wisely.. If you decide to take IBM, may be you can ask them when they will make you band 9.
