While I do appreciate your input and understand what you are saying, it really does not answer my question.
My question was, is it possible to switch to another group where I feel my experience might benefit ACN. ACN is paying me C3 salary, I'd like to see them get their money's worth too. Who do I need to convince to turn this into a win win situation?
Right now, in my opinion, its a lose lose situation since I am being marganalized by doing analyst level work and ACN is losing money by paying a consultant for work that an analyst could do. |

First talk to your immediate supervisor on the project - but don't just complain, provide one or more possible solutions, e.g. you could
- take on more responsibility in line with your experience on that project
- train a (much cheaper) analyst to fill your position and move on to other, better work there or a different project.
For either scenario you should have a workable plan, don't just tell him/her they should find you a better role. You should define that role upfront and have an excellent understanding how this would advance quality, schedule, ... whatever, on that specific project, if you fill that role.
Changing OGs is an involved process, both have to agree and if nobody really knows you in either OG you may fall between the cracks as a "high-maintenance" guy who isn't satisfied with what he's got and runs around bugging people. Not very desirable.
