I was hired into the Government OG as an experienced consultant with 24 months of exp in Dec. My background though has been more communications & technology related.
However at my first gig I find myself doing analyst level work and not to mention, I am working on technologies that really do not fit my background, skills or profile.
I think my skills and experience could be leveraged better in a different Operating group. How difficult is it to switch to a different group? Who would I need to talk to and how would one approach this topic?
How much time should I let pass before broaching this subject with my Career Counsellor or HR?
Any input would be appreciated.
