There is little correlation between your salary and your billcode. The billcode is a function of your loaded cost (how much each hour of your work costs the company) and the amount you can be billed out at. ACNUK was also correct that all analysts are in the 30s, Consultants 50, Managers and above are 60+. The different divisions within the two lower levels have more to do with your specialties- e.g. a tecnical person with a Comp Sci. degreee tends to have a higher bill code. This has a tiny correlation to your salary, but that can only be compared within your own office.
Also note that clients NEVER pay the full external rate of your billcode- they always have discounts. |

There's a huge correlation between your salary and your bill code. Your salary at each level determines your bill code.
Just not a fancy formula for how your bill code is determined. Its a table based on salary and zone.
Also, bill code has nothing to do with how much the client actually pays for your services. Bill code is just a starting point upon which discounts are applied.
