I am actually not realistically positioned for SE until Sep 2007 (not 06).
Targets for SMGR is about 15%. However, ALL bonuses only paid out at 40% of target for this year...NOT GOOD.
so..now do you think i should stay or leave? |

take a look at the upside of both offers. In PE not only will you have the opportunity to purchase equity stakes in brand new companies and potentially have your income skyrocket, but you also have a better chance to make a name for yourself and push your career to places you never dreamed.
While Accenture senior exec is nothing to sneeze at, think about the long road ahead. You're going to come in at the lowest rung of level 4. Assuming that you're a superior performer and move up as fast as possible, think about where you might be in 10 years. In my opinion, your best case scenario in 10 years would be the lowest rung of level 2. Again nothing to sneeze at, but compare it to where you might be in 10 years at PE.
Personally, I think you have a no-brainer, take the PE job.
