In Reply To: Using current FX rates (~1.77 USD/GBP), the total cash comp package is ~10-12% lower than US offers. I'm not sure how this lines up against similar offers for London jobs, but your career management office should have some data. Also, companies rarely pay a premium in base comp just because a person went to a Top 5 MBA. You might get a higher signing bonus or other soft perks; but peoeple talk about salaries so that's usually standardized, regardless of school.
Message: Guys, I have been working in Accenture Strategy in London for 2 years (I quit 5 months ago) and I can tell you it is not worth while. I have seen many MBA's (from great schools) coming in as C3. They have been promised fast tracked promotion and interesting projects. The reality is that once in the firm, these MBA's are not promoted and get bad projects. Generally, it will take a year for MBA's to realise they got screwed and by then it will be quite difficult for them to make a carreer change. I got lucky to obtain a great job somewhere else, but this is not at all a general rule. I would stongly advise you not to join accenture and spend more time applying to good firnms
