a few of the perks you mentioned are true but...
1) I have never been able to get instant status at car rental companies
2) I have never gotten any special benefits for working at a particular client
3) There is a maintained "list" of discounts, but that list has shrunk dramatically in recent years and changes often
4) I have never been on a project that "shut down" for the holidays, yea I know it happens, but I think it is rare, I am at work right now and I have to work on christmas day and new years eve!
5) I didn't get a bonus this year because my CC told me I didn't "qualify", even though I got a sustained plus rating. |

ok, maybe just the retail clients get the holidays off (true not every single on, but several like in Texas, Florida, Ill, and MN)
the list of discounts has shrunk dramatically, from super long to just plain long.
