Hi, I was just offered a position as financial advisor in the New York City office with Greg Mantos. Does anybody have any insights into this? I am to pick up a employment packet tomorrow and fill it out and begin studying for the insurance exams as well as register for a class in mid January.
Then, I am to start studying for my Series 7 in which I take a month after that followed by my Series 66. I was told that AXA would sponsor the later, but I would have to foot the bill for the insurance one and after three months will be refunded.
After three months, if I can produce $5000 in commission, in which I will receive 100% of, I will be given a contract.
I am unfamiliar with this industry so I am wondering if this is standard.
