Imagine your worst job; imagine a place where cronies rule, incompetents fools are everywhere and worse, incompetent fools don't know that they are fools and incompetent. This is the place that has grown on back of housing boom and there's been a complete lack of building company culture. Companies usually hire people who are compatible with company's culture and share its vision. That doesn't happen here. Seems like whoever applied for job got it.
Some of the current projects are in doldrums, funding has been cutoff, layoffs are always round the corner and employees can't trust anybody. Worse, a very senior manager of has group of his buddies from his previous company, some of them who are unemployable outside, who spy and slander for him.
Senior managers are rumored to be looking for new jobs since they are tired of being spied upon.
If you are working there then get out and if not then now you know what you are missing!
