Hi I have been selling insurance for a person for 5 years and make and I have just finished a great year, but if the place was mine I could have made a lot more I am looking to make my next move (my own business withing the next year).
I have seen a lot of negative and some positive posts, which you will always see in a sales position because of the business.
I became concerned when I saw the post Considering Aflac Sales Associate position, where an agent had all his accunts taken away by AFLAC. Has anybody eles had a similar problem. Can they take the accounts that you build for any reason?
Does Aflac have problems with selling other Insurance products, such as Group Health?
Is anyone willing to provide the commision structure? In general how much commision is paid for a policy that is sold (I realize each product will vary). How much commision is rec'd for renewals?
Thanks for any help you can provide. |

AFLAC is a great company. I have worked with them over 2 years now. Of course everyone will have good or bad experiences. What this person is refering to is when you quit, if you do, then you will not work for the company anymore. AFLAC needs someone to still service the account and the acct will become a house account. If you do not work for AFLAC any more then how can you expect to keep servicing the account????DUH! You will still get the renewals and stock on it if you have been there long enough. I would def. suggest this career to anyone. I will retire doing this and I love the company and its beliefs and morals.
