Don't get upset by this, recruiting from 2nd-tier biz schools is not degrading. Besides, some of their graduates are very smart. It is a matter of positioning: if you don't pay big bucks, you can't hire from the certain places. Don't be ashamed, you are not a first-tier firm, so you get second-tier candidates.
As simple as that. If you are from the top ten schools, you try to get into McKinsey or BCG, if turned down, then you try BAH, Monitor or Bain. If this is not even possible, then you consider the ATKs, IBMs, Accenture and so on. You can still be succesful there. |

what evidence do you have that mck and bcg are 'better' than bah/monitor? (no argument on atk). is that what you heard on the vault board? or are you a c-level exec at a f500? or are you just going by what the girl next to you in class says?
the difference b/w mck/bcg and bah/monitor are way exaggerated, compared to real-world perception.
