Mostly hire from 2nd tier and local business schools, where candidates are cheaper and can't find jobs with the big guys, i.e McKinsey or BCG. ATK is a middle management firm and they stick to it. Very few graduates from HBS, Wharton, Columbia, Stanford Insead or LBS ever join ATK. But you'll find lots of graduates from Cal State, London City, Illinois, Florida, IESE, Sydney and Sao Paulo, to name a few. |

Acturgex's post simply isn't true. In the US, last year's Summer Associate class was from Kellogg, Chicago, Michigan, Wharton, HBS, Columbia, Darden, Carnegie Melon (techies), Duke, Toronto, UCLA, Berkeley and UT. There wasn't a single Summer Associate from the schools mentioned in acturgex's post. The Summer Analyst class was mainly from Ivy League schools with a lot of Wharton undergrads. The remainder of the Summer Analysts came from a variety of schools, hired through minority recruiting programs.
