Most all the ops work these days is sourcing .. if 60% of the Firms total work is ops (which in my mind is actually higher) then 85% of that work is Sourcing. We rarely if ever do real ops work anymore ... gone are the big supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory assignments. |

I would counter that although sourcing is a large part of a procurement strategy, I can think of at least two very large supply chain/business transformations that include more than half sourcing.
