US Airways is the fifth-largest airline in the U.S. In 2006 it flew 36 million people to roughly 90 airports across the country, mostly from its hubs in Charlotte, Phoenix and Philadelphia. The company's three subsidiaries, MidAtlantic Airways, Piedmont Airlines and PSA (the former Pacific Southwest Airlines), operate a regional feeder network under the name US Airways Express, along with a number of independent partners. Overall, US Airways operates 280 mainline jets systemwide.
