It is the second-largest office furniture manufacturer in the world, as well as one of America's leading makers and distributors of gas- and wood-burning fireplaces -- or, as the company calls them, "hearth products." The company enjoyed sales of $2.5 billion in 2007, a decrease of 4 percent from the year before, while net income decreased 2 percent to $120 million. The company sells mainly to furniture dealers, wholesalers and retail giants such as OfficeMax, Office Depot and Staples.
