While still making changes and adjusting to its newfound independence after 10 years under EDS, many of A.T. Kearney's professionals say the management buyout has had a positive affect on the company's culture, how employees act with each other and clients and on in-house policies like training and benefits programs. "Our '80-year-old startup' firm is delivering on its promises as it recaptures the identity Tom Kearney built 80 years ago," says one consultant, while another insider says the firm has become "a completely different place."
