Responsibilities : SHIFT (MONDAY-FRIDAY: 8am-5pm)
SCOPE:
B Develop and install cost effective, operationally supportable solutions that meet complex customer requirements and SLAs.
B Deliver end of the road support for complex environments.
B Provide clear technical documentation and written ISO9001 procedures to ensure other members of Central Operations can assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and changing complex customer environments.
B Responsible for direct customer communication, working closely with other central operations technical teams and customer service teams.
B Build and maintain relationships with key customerBs technical staff members and with internal stakeholders from customer service and field operations.
B Provide assistance/training and leadership to other engineers.
B Perform weekly and monthly maintenance activity when required
B Perform after-hours support as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
B Provide direct operational support of largest managed services customers, maintaining ownership and a deep technical knowledge.
B Responsible for direct customer communication, working closely with other central operations technical teams and customer service teams.

Implement technical solutions for customers:
B Develop and install cost effective, operationally supportable solutions that meet complex customer requirements and SLAs.
B Provide clear technical documentation and written ISO9001 procedures to ensure other members of Central Operations can assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and changing complex customer environments.
Qualifications :
B College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
B Must have a minimum 1 year TSM server and client engineering-level implementation, configuration and troubleshooting experience.
B Must have a minimum of 5 years of diverse storage environment experience B Experience with EMC Clariion, McData & Brocade.
B Strong customer service and communications skills (written and oral) are required.
B Must have detailed knowledge of RAID, SCSI, SAN, and NAS.
B Strong time management and organizational skill are required.
B Must have the ability to effectively work in a team environment, as well as independently.
B Must know basic IP security structures regarding disk and tape storage.
B Must have a minimum of 2 years of Systems management and administration with an in-depth understanding of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Solaris, Unix/Linux
B Extensive knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies is required.
B Strong storage problem isolation and resolutions skills required.
B Must have the ability to lead and direct vendors to assist them in their efforts.
B Strong interpersonal skills are a requirement.
B Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
Preferred Education:
B Bachelor degree with technical coursework or equivalent experience
B Industry recognized certification in storage / backup technology(s)
