Job Description:
Responsibilities : Shift (Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5:00pm)
B7 Provide presales support in the assigned region to as many as five sales people for business resumption services (Continuity), Tape based backups, Data mirroring, Data replication, Managed Hosting, Data Center Out-Sourcing and professional consulting services engagements.
B7 Deliver Technical presentations of service offerings to new and existing Customers.
B7 Gather technical information on the customers IT environment. Including but not limited to Data Center Operations, Systems, Networking Infrastructure, Backup processes, applications, user access and business unit interdependencies.
B7 Engage customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position Deliverables.
B7 Prioritize and manage to the regional sales opportunities and goals.
B7 Maintain familiarity and adherence to all methods and procedures.
B7 Consistently manage all Support Requests to a timely and successful completion.
B7 Ability to provide second level support including assisting with creating customized or out of the box solutions.
B7 Extensive travel requirements up to 50%.
Qualifications :
B7 College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
B7 Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or work equivalence.
B7 3 - 5 years of technical services support or pre-sales support experience.
B7 3 - 5 years of managed hosting services or networking experience.
B7 "Creditworthiness" and ability to use a personal credit card for all reimbursable expenses is required
B7 Excellent PC Skills and common business applications. ( MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
B7 Knowledge of Information Technology to include Data center infrastructures, data backup and recovery concepts and technologies.
B7 Exceptional ability to listen, assess and document information from client.
B7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
B7 Excellent presentation skills.
B7 Able to handle a fast paced environment and continuously re-prioritize while maintaining a constant focus on closing deals.
In addition to the above required skills, all successful candidates must possess working knowledge in at least two of the areas described below:
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
B7 Working knowledge of data replication and data mirroring technologies and processes.
B7 Working knowledge of Managed Hosting Services, technologies and concepts.
B7 Working knowledge of networking and telecommunication technologies and concepts.
B7 Working knowledge of system components and usage.
