Must be capable of conceptualizing, building, and deploying systems management and automation technologies for a large body of Windows servers and Windows PC clients. He or she will work both independently and with our 35-person systems staff on substantial design and research projects within the Windows environment.
Responsibilities:
B7 Develop a scalable Windows server environment for both our campus and global networks
B7 Identify, research, evaluate, and implement emerging Windows technologies
B7 Develop and implement automation and management tools
B7 Engineer application, database, and messaging solutions for the firm's growing, highly-resilient Windows infrastructure
Requirements:
B7 5+ years of hands-on experience with server applications in a Microsoft networked environment
B7 High level of expertise in the following areas:
o Windows 2000/2003 Server
o Exchange 2000/2003 Server
o SQL 2000/2005 Server
o Active Directory management
o Security management (including Group Policy Objects)
o Citrix and VM Ware
B7 Experience with UNIX administration
B7 Experience with LAN administration
B7 Solid programming and scripting abilities
B7 Project management and documentation skills
B7 Demonstrated ability to manage packages (release updates) and apply security patches
B7 Demonstrated ability to develop tools to maintain and monitor corporate infrastructure
