Downtown LA office on "Am Law 100" national law firm seeks ONE 2nd-4th year (class of 2006 to 2004) for their venture capital, emerging growth and technology practice group. Ideal candidate should have corporate and intellectual property transactional law experience. This is a terrific opportunity to be part of this firm's expanding Interactive Entertainment and Digital Content practice groups.
This candidate will be working with some of the leading publishers, developers, and technology companies in the videogame space, as well as some of the major digital content programs with the major studios. Work will range from corporate, venture financing, mergers and acquisitions, and joint venture projects, to handling licensing, publishing, and distribution agreements on a daily basis.
JD from a "top 25" law school highly recommended along with a "top 20" class ranking. CA Bar preferred, but not required. Very stable employment history with a major U.S. law firm essential.
