Practice Leader - Litigation Support

Our client practices provide comprehensive financial, economic and strategic advice to companies with complex business problems. They provide a broad range of consulting and forensic accounting services and alternative dispute resolution forums.
Specialty practice areas include breach of contract claims, business interruption, investigation services, intellectual property disputes, construction disputes, securities fraud, economic and financial analysis, and insurance claims services.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited, to the following:
Developing lost profit analyses and implementing financial models, as well as conducting comparative and pro forma analyses.
Reconstructing financial statements and/or records using forensic accounting techniques.
Analyzing and critiquing opposing party claims.
Interacting closely with counsel and company representatives to gather and analyze information.
Developing proposals for potential new engagements.
Drafting preliminary reports of findings.
Reviewing documents and depositions to identify information related to key damage issues.
Interpreting and explaining the underlying financial aspects of an engagement to enable counsel to adequately understand the relevant business issues, and preparing partners to testify as an expert witness at trial or other dispute resolution forum.
Successful candidates will possess:
5 to 25 years of experience in a Big 4 (or equivalent) audit or consulting environment.
Knowledge of some combination of financial accounting, auditing, statistical analysis, forensic investigations and financial modeling is required.
CPA is also preferred but not required.
We welcome candidates with distinguished academic achievement, a high level of personal integrity, a strong interest in accounting and finance, a high level of energy and a strong desire to learn. A strong finance or accounting background is required, together with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CFA (Certified Financial Advisor) or CBE (Certified Bank Examiner) qualification. Additionally an MBA would be desirable but is not required.
Compensation ranges: From $200,000 and up to $400,000 for Practice Leaders.
Travel: Up to 25%
