Noobis is looking for interns to help the company maximize Web traffic and overall visibility among our target audience. You will be responsible for the identification, review or recommendation of content or opinions relevant to noobis, processing requests from subscribers, and engaging in active discussions through the various features of the site. This is an unpaid internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review noobis content to ensure accuracy and relevance; recommend changes as appropriate.
• Research 3rd party content, recommend inclusion as appropriate.
• Conduct research in areas related to noobis's business activities, including: emerging trends, technologies, competition, strategic partners, etc.
• Monitor user-generated content to ensure that it adheres to noobis standards.
• Engage in active political conversation through blogs, chat, forums, etc.
• Process subscribed user requests: account verification, polls/surveys, reports, statistics, etc.
• Contribute to focus groups as a basis for design or improvement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passionate about politics, and up-to-date on current events.
• Interested in social media, and able to keep a pulse on the trends.
• Proficient in conducting research assignments using the Web.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work from home.
• Comfortably work individually or as part of a remote team.
• Efficiently manage several (small) concurrent assignments.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent writing skills.
