-Act as the front end support/researcher of all tickets issues within Network Operations.
-The Network Analyst will be responsible for reviewing customer requests and gathering requirements for network requests. The person will also be responsible for facilitating requirements gathering sessions for internal network standardization and infrastructure projects.
-Requirements gathering for any complex or undefined customer requests issued to the Network Operations Team.
-Facilitate requirements gathering sessions for large scale customer requests and/or internal network infrastructure projects.
-Facilitate troubleshooting sessions for client changes that do not yield expected results.
-Provide feedback and/or drive project program improvements
-Communication of project jeopardy items to management.
Required Skills:
-College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
-5 years in an information technology company / environment
-Significant experience in the areas networking and telecommunications
-Understanding of routing, firewall rules, IP addressing in a network complex environment is essential
-Knowledge of circuit provisioning is a plus
-Must have a strong technical acumen
-Experience managing small projects in a team oriented, cross organizational environment
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
-Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, associates and subordinates at all levels of management
-Outstanding Leadership and facilitation skills
-Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
-Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting workloads in a fast paced environment
-Ability to work off-hours to support changes in a production environment.
