We have just been contacted by the Hiring Partner of a top-tier US based law firm who is actively seeking an attorney with 2-5 years of M&A, private equity and/or capital markets experience for their Tokyo office. This is a unique opportunity in the Tokyo market as Japanese language skills are not required; however, fluency is a plus. Candidate must be admitted in New York or California and must be willing to remain in Tokyo for at least two years. The firm's practice in Japan has been widely recognized as a leader among U.S. law firms in the representation of Japanese corporations and other Japanese institutions in the United States and elsewhere around the globe. The firm also frequently represents major U.S. and other non-Japanese clients in connection with their activities in Japan. The Tokyo office works closely with the London and New York offices of the firm. Working with other lawyers in the firm, the associates receive outstanding training and exposure to the firm as a whole.
