Our client, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies, seeks an experienced attorney to join its Legal Affairs group handling television production-related issues. Responsibilities will include: Acting as hands-on production attorney for programming produced by the Company and its divisions; Working with production counsel for outside producers; Drafting production agreements; vetting scripts, mock-ups and rough cuts; Advising clients on intellectual property, defamation, privacy, contract, newsgathering, and FCC issues, as well as other issues arising out of unscripted "reality" programming; and, Handling claims prior to litigation.
