Noobis is looking for interns to help the company maximize Web traffic and overall visibility among our target audience. You will be responsible for promoting noobis products using Web 2.0 sites, tools and services , monitoring references to noobis brands on 3rd party sites, and engaging in active off-site discussions about noobis. This is an unpaid internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and contribute to Internet marketing campaigns designed to promote noobis brands, and increase traffic to the site.
• Monitor and report on web-based coverage of noobis brands.
• Participate in managing media relations efforts to ensure that a positive message is maintained.
• Engage in active off-site discussions about noobis through other social networks, blogs, chat, forums, life-casting sites, etc.
• Contribute to focus groups as a basis for design or improvement of noobis brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in conducting research assignments using the Web.
• Knowledge and experience in SEO or link building is a plus
• Ability to navigate and leverage Web 2.0 sites (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Digg, etc.) to effectively start and manage conversations about noobis brands.
• Interested in social media, and able to keep a pulse on the trends.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work from home.
• Comfortably work individually or as part of a remote team.
• Self starter - Can take direction, grasp the mission and "run with it"
• Efficiently manage several (small) concurrent assignments.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent writing skills.
