Our client, a major Fortune 100 technology company seeks a Senior Intellectual Property Attorney to handle IP issues for the clientCBCBs Technology Manufacturing Group Responsibilities will include counseling senior management, dealing with offensive and defensive IP issues, presenting appropriate course of action to management taking into consideration business needs, drafting IP licenses related to the business objectives. The candidate should be able to counsel business managers in the area of complex intellectual property, licensing transactions, contract interpretation, and dispute resolution. This individual will generally operate independently on most of his or her activities, including negotiations, but with some guidance from a managing attorney or more experienced attorney on more complex issues. This person will also serve as a project team member in dealing with portions of very complex legal issues.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of legal support either as in-house counsel or outside counsel to the electronics industry. Of that, a minimum of 4 years legal experience in intellectual property, including some specific background in technology licensing, patent litigation, patent litigation, patent analysis, and IP strategy. JD, State Bar membership and undergraduate or advanced technical degree required.
