Top-tier US based firm is looking for established London/U.S. based lawyers who have independent India practices. Client base should preferably include both Indian companies and MNCs doing business in India. To a lesser extent, they're also interested in candidates who have significant India experience but have no India-specific clients. Firm is open to discussions with candidates in all practice areas but prefer candidates that have practice areas aligned with one of the core specialties of the London/U.S. offices (e.g., dispute resolution, technology, mid cap corporate). Outside of these core areas, they would be interested in a candidate who practices project finance, capital markets or PE and has sufficient business to keep him and/or his team (if applicable) busy. The candidate should be willing to work closely with their US/EU offices. The existing core team provides a transatlantic service which is integral to the India practice.
