We are currently working on a new in-house opportunity with one of the largest producers of power in the United States. This company is experiencing significant growth and the financials are stellar. Due to a number of re-powering projects underway, the company is looking for an experienced project/finance attorney to add to its team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast pace team with some of the best energy attorneys in the country.
Our client is a leading energy provider seeking a senior attorney to provide advice regarding project development, project finance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in energy transactions and contract negotiations including financing and lending documents and other complex agreements. The attorney will also provide counsel to management and project teams on matters of law and policy, direct outside counsel on projects, and monitor and advise management and project teams of legal developments and trends including changes in the law, administrative decision, and judicial decisions.
