Our client, a major law firm with 500+ attorneys, seeks a Manager of Diversity & Inclusion.
This position will support and coordinate diversity and inclusion initiatives and efforts for the Firm. This position develops, shares and implements best practices - is the CBCBgo-to personCBCB for all diversity information and questions. Key responsibilities for this position are as follows: Develops and maintains diversity calendar and initiative/project timeline. Responsible for preparing routine, non-routine and customized diversity statistics and reports for internal and external use, including monthly reports and quarterly management reports, balanced scorecard statistics, etc. Participates in and supports the Firm-wide Diversity Committee meetings, taking minutes and monitoring follow-up items. Partners with departments, offices and office diversity committees on local diversity initiatives, supporting them and providing needed resources.
Ideal candidates will possess a demonstrated passion for diversity and inclusion, and belief in its power to enhance and grow the Firm. Additionally, he/she will possess specialist knowledge and expertise in diversity and its various dimensions, have proven experience in fostering a diverse workforce and inclusive workplace, a strong orientation as a change agent and ability to drive projects as assigned, and strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization.
Experience working in diversity and extensive knowledge about diversity and inclusion is a requirement. Applicants should possess a Graduate degree, 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources and Diversity Management, and strong project management skills. This position will be located in the firmCBCBs New Jersey or New York City office.
