Director of Nursing
This individual will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Chief Nurse Executive to ensure the seamless operation of patient care throughout the hospital and provides leadership to nursing staff in the delivery of safe, efficient, cost effective, quality patient care. The incumbent ensures that patient care is provided following standards of professional performance as outlined by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Professional Stands of Occupational Performance, accreditation agencies, state and federal licensing requirement and hospital/department specific goals.
The successful individual will have their BSN and Masters in Nursing (or be currently enrolled) and be licensed or be able to obtain a license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania with a minimum of five years management experience. Certification in rehabilitation nursing (CRRN) is preferred. The candidate must also be proficient in computer applications and clinical information systems.
