We are currently partnering with a client-owned wealth management firm to find its next Director of Client Services. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world-class team of professionals in a leadership capacity.
The Director of Client Services will be responsible for client relationships, business management, and business strategy development.
Client Relationships
Responsible for the on-going proactive interaction and communication between the firm and its clients to ensure that each client receives outstanding financial, tax, fiduciary, and investment management.
Serve as the primary client contact, which includes developing an integrated (investment, tax, insurance, estate and trust) financial plan, for select clients.
Participate in the asset allocation decision-making process with individual clients and directly advise and counsel clients on their investments with input from the investment team.
Conduct estate plan reviews with clients and collaboratively work with client attorney, the firm legal counsel, and the firm tax department to ensure effective estate planning as well as the proper implementation of estate planning strategies.
Work with the firm staff to ensure that all trust accounts are reviewed with income beneficiaries annually and provide input to the firms management team concerning beneficiaries needs and objectives.
Monitor the firms website to ensure it is current and error-free.
Advise management team on goals and priorities common among clients and advise the senior leadership team on communication of information that impacts the quality of investments, tax, accounting, and other services provided by the organization.
Develop and implement programs to educate clients on financial matters, and coordinate and plan client meetings in support of initiatives led by client families.
What experience is required?
This position requires the ability to interact with a diverse client population, ranging from young adults to senior family members, both as individuals and within groups, on matters including investments, financial and tax planning, and fiduciary issues.

Specific Requirements:
Strong academic credentials; Bachelors degree required, JD or MBA highly preferred.
At least eight years of relevant experience working with clients on general financial, investment, tax and estate planning issues. Legal training preferred.
Trust and estate experience preferred.
CFP highly desired.
