Responsibilities:
-Lead the application & database management team in overall service excellence & customer support.
-Provide direct leadership & management to the Application & Database Management support team & coordinate effectively across all of Company for tiers 1-3 of Service Delivery & engineering development. This duty may include strategic definition & execution, performance management & reporting, delegation of work, conflict resolution, training & mentoring, hiring & firing recommendations & other related duties. Hire, train, & manage a team of ????????????????A???????????????? players at all positions within the team.
-Must have a working knowledge of application development life cycle & experience deploying new applications in an IT environment.
-Establish strategies, procedures, processes & a culture that leads to the overall highest customer satisfaction in the industry.
-Train, implement, & enforce the use of operational processes in areas such as customer implementation & support, emergency procedures, & troubleshooting. Maintain clear procedures & ISO9001:2000 certification for operations. Maintain a working knowledge of ITIL regarding best practices.
-Must be able to effectively schedule 24x7x365 schedules & delegate workflow for the Tier 1 & 2 operations staff.
-Hire the best customer service & technical talent available & train them to deliver excellent customer service & support to the data centers & customers.
Qualifications:
Must Requirements:
-College degree or equivalent work related experience
-Ability to provide world-class customer support & leadership for customers focused on Managed Services elements of Application Management & database management.
-5-10 years management & leadership experience required.
-Experience required in hiring, training & execution of mission critical operations team in a 24x7x365 environment.
-Must have a working knowledge of the Application Development Life Cycle & the IT infrastructure components that support new/revised application deployments.
-Extensive knowledge of data communication concepts & technologies is required.
-Strong customer service & communications skills (written & oral) are required.
-Minimum of 10 years of SAP, Oracle &/or Microsoft ERP systems required.
-Experience with a variety of technology platforms & databases are required, including multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Solaris) & databases (Oracle, SQL) as well as other infrastructure technologies.
-Ability to hire, lead, train & support a team of ????????????????A???????????????? Players delivering Application & Database management services.
-Maintain ownership of detailed concepts of operations & procedure accuracy for these product lines for tiers 1, 2 & 3 service delivery support.
-Manage, lead & coach team of 2+ Application Engineers/Architects.
-Assist in the development & maintenance Application standards & operational procedures.
-Provide strategic direction, plans & growth for the Application & Database Management services within Company.
-Working knowledge in activating, provisioning, & troubleshooting managed storage (tape & disk), load balancing, operating systems administration, database administration, monitoring services.
-Strong systems & network troubleshooting skills are required.
-Strong networking skills & experience required.
-Strong project management, time management skills required.
-Strong leadership capabilities a must. Must have previous experience managing technical team members.
-Support new prospect & customers as requested by the sales team.
-Assist sales & marketing in the sales collateral & tools as well as training.
-Must have the ability to lead & direct vendors
-Ability to support sales engagements as an operational credibility & technical support person required.
